Where can I get SEO certificate?

I dont think certificate really counts.
Just get a certificate template, print it and put ur name on it.
There are no big institutions offering anything like that afaik, so i dont think it matters.
Just tell them you are certified by... err.. SE Media Labs or whatever...

I have seen quite a few SEO websites displaying the logo from seocertification.org. Few shows sempo.org logo too. There are no internationally recognized certifications for SEO, at least not for individual SEO practitioners.

Inbound Marketing University offers free training. It's a self paced 16 week training program. After you complete the 16 webinar classes, you can opt to take the exam. You need to get 75% of better to get the Inbound Marketing Certified Professional certificate. Supposedly, only 1 in 6 pass the exam, but I believe it's because most of the people who take the classes are small business owners and aren't really internet savvy. The training really is a lead generator for HubSpot.
I haven't taken the training, but am considering it. I have heard nothing but good things about the quality of the training.

ive never thought of that before,even if you just know how to explain yourself better & come across confident with your answers or some little badge or emblem to put on your cards or flyers ,ive signed up for the course heres the link if anyone else is thinking of giving it a try ,

@mazar: I did signed up for Inbound University certification course. But when I reviewed their course material, it became clear that their certification would hardly lend any value. It comprised of just the basics of Online marketing, even a noob can clear their exam IMO. I did not bothered applying for the exam.
The good part is that the study material as well as the exam is free, and as they say "Something is better than nothing".

If you want to impress them, create a website in a well known competitive niche and rank it well. Once they see what you have done, your in. If they want to contact prior customers, let them know you value your customers privacy and that's why you created your website. Good luck

If you can associate yourself with a brand they know, a company they know, a person they look up to, a business group they are in, all these will out weight any SEO certificate simply because most people view them as legitimate as getting an online degree but with more skepticism. And frankly, if they are asking for credentials, you are lacking in your testimonials and your presentation skills, not a certificate or a degree for all that matters.
