I need some free images for my websites. I don't want to get sued for taking someone else image. Anyone have any suggestions?

You can search for some free stock image sites there are a couple of decent ones out there. What I usally do with images is search for them on Tineye to found out how many times that image has already been used, and if its spread all around the web already I just assume its safe to use.

1) Go to Google images and type in desired keyword phrase.
2) Once results are displayed, select advanced image search.
3) Select the "usage rights" drop-down menu and select the "labeled for commercial reuse" option, and you'll be good to go.

try sxc [dot] hu

A designer i was using recommended it to me

cheers

sxc is great - I use them all the time.

You can also use flickr, goto the advanced search and at the bottom of the page you can specify to only search within Creative Commons-licensed content .
