Where can I find SMTP servers that work?

If they are old lists, then you're going to have to burn a few accounts in order to clean up the list. No reputable company that cares about their IP reputation is going to just let you churn and burn through them.

Why don't you just get a $50 linux VPS with 10 IPs, install Interspire on it, and throttle it to 100,000 emails per day?

Note to all fellow BHW members reading this thread... Buyer beware of ANY person or entity offering you web hosting services that

1) Offer services and claim they wont shut you down for spam (chances are the ips offered from a company like that their ip space(not a single ip but all of their ranges allocated to them) is blacklisted if not it will be in a matter of time) and if this is the case it doesn't matter how much you send mail your inbox rates will be total garbage.

2) Claim good inbox rates (this is a sales tactic only) unless they're an actual ESP they can't claim they're better than any one else in this aspect with the exception of having a good senderscore on their ips and if they're allowing you to bulk I can guarantee at best they will be allocating you an IP with a score of 0. There are numerous factors that come into play with regards to making sure your email hits the inbox. IP reputation, Headers, Email Content, Domain Reputation are just a few examples.

3) Tell you that you can send 100k email a day. I hate to throw all you scammers under the bus like this, but unless your list has no yahoo, aol, gmail, msn, etc you're not sending that much without ip and domain rotation and possibly even content rotation (spam filters will flag the same email sent over and over and over to recipients on it's servers) and if you are rest assured you will be blocked and will not even make it to the spam box much less the inbox.


scuba steve seems to be the only one here providing you with sound advice... I would listen to it.

You might find a provider out of the us that will provide such services in some other country besides the US, but if you're mailing to US customers then that might be something you'll want to reconsider as some spam filters block mail from known spam friendly countries...

On another note... there are providers here in the US that will provide services to BULK emailers, not spammers. (Yes, it's my opinion that there is a difference) It takes searching, and reading countless acceptable use agreements but they're there I assure you....

Even with those providers, like any other provider it's a crap shoot as to whether or not you get allocated a blacklisted ip from the start (this happens to me about 35% of the time)

I hope this enlightens some of you BHW mailers.... I see these threads across the internet all the time and just cringe they all sound like car salesmen....general rule of thumb...if it sounds too good to be true.... It is!

I am also interested in someone whom can setup VPS's for our dedicated usage. We only send 2000-5000 emails per day. They are all advertising request emails to webmasters.

Do not look for SMTP.
The best you can do is to rent a dedicated server at setup your own SMTP.
Search on google for postfix or sendmail, it is relative easy to setup one.

I've thought of this however my fear is the TOS. Most of the Terms of Service say something "we can charge you $1000 per spam email" or something like that. My fear is that I wake up some morning and my bank account has been drained by the company that I rented the dedicated server from.

I have a dedicated server now, I know how to set up the SMTP, however I won't "burn" my current one as I have many websites on it. I'm open to renting one via a different company as long as I know its not typical practice from them to bill you some super high fee if you violate the TOS.

How much for smtp servers mate?

Its 300 USD per day cost. But if you do agreement for 3 months will do it on 150 USD per day.

I am in need of bulk SMTP services as well. Anyone offering anything now?
