Where can I find resources to become a better web freelancer?

Recently I started by journey as a web freelancer, currently have been undertaking projects from friends and family.

I want to become a better web designer, do you think this is worth it? or should I just focus on the client acquisition part?

I have graduated from a comp sci degree recently, my goal is to make money!
