I’m looking for a place where I can buy or sell a subreddit. I know Reddit doesn’t officially support subreddit transfers, but I’ve seen discussions about it happening privately.

Does anyone know trusted sources, marketplaces, or communities where subreddit ownership is traded? Any insights or experiences would be really helpful!

There are also some marketplaces to sell social media accounts, they may work for subreddits too

You can try to sale in BHW marketplace section after upgrading your account. Blackhatworld is the best marketplace to sale/buy those types of things.

You can check the Want to Buy section, but most subreddits for sale are either losing reach or facing some kind of ban, so building your own is better.
 
Yeah, Reddit doesn’t allow official transfers, but it definitely happens under the radar. A lot of trades are done via private deals,Discord servers, Reddit DMs, or via escrow on marketplaces outside the platform.


That said, be cautious. There are plenty of scams in this space. Best bet is to work with trusted members or sellers with a decent rep here or in Reddit flipping communities. Some people also use platforms like Player Up or swap subreddits through connections in subreddit growth groups.


Always use a trusted middleman if you’re dealing with money. Risky space but can be worth it if you’re careful.
 
There are some people already selling subreddits on BHW. You might want to give it a try.
