I guess the purpose of this thread is both because I'd like to know a little more about other BHW members.

Where are you from? What do you do? (also any other info that we may find interesting).

I'll start:

I am a 29 year old, studying M.A (Yoga)
I completed BE (Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering in India)

My Studies are totally irrelevant to my Job.

My main jobs right now are Restaurant - cooking, serving, delivery & every single things from dish wash to cash counter.

I'm from Italy (north area, near Milan)
I'm involved as a business developer and marketing manager for a multinational corporation.
I am also a fotographer, a photoshopper, a sporty guy and I'm learning to do IM from a couple of years.

Hey there, I'm 20 years old and from Czech republic. I got kicked from school 1 year ago. I'm swing Forex trader, doing it 7 years but only this year I started really making money. On BHW searching good method to have some backup money.
 
Wow, you got an interesting profile there. Why Yoga after B.Tech ? Is there good scope of freelance in Yoga field ? Regards restaurant, is it your own restaurant ? What are the problems associated with running a restaurant in India ?
 
USA in the house!

Born 1980 in bomb town USA! Got it's nickname due to the mafia's love of car bombs in the area. I grew up as the mafia was at it's height in the area, and watched as it fell from public favor. Then got to watch the destruction of the city from the power vacuum, making it the murder capitol for awhile.

I have a degree in Linguistics, with a minor in 19th century African American Literature.

I have worked as a:
Door greeter at Walmart
Grave digger
Landscaper
Full-time lifeguard
Fire investigator
Safety Inspector
Food safety auditor
Interrogator for Homeland security
Freelance safety consultant

Currently, I came out of consulting to accept a job turning around a bad( top 10 worst in US) safety company, into a model safety company.

I figure I'll either be C-suite next or go back to consulting, in a few years.

My IM stuff is always side work, I only work on sites that are my passions/interests, because I use them as an avenue to grow my knowledge, and help others who may be facing what I have/do.

Hey, my own brand, My own restaurant - Stated Dec 10th 2015
After exact 1 year - Started new outlet on Dec 2016.

Unfortunately some bad Time,
As the Result : I closed the new outlet & now managing the main outlet.

A Long Story Short : There was 10+ workers before.
Now am the only "one" to manage Everything.

Guess, How much Work i'm doing.
I love Hard Work, therefore restaurant!
I love Smart Work, therefore BHW!

Why Yoga after B.Tech ? Is there good scope of freelance in Yoga field ?

Not i chosen Yoga for any scope or earning from it.

No studies after B.Tech over the years.
My father who is already in the field of Yoga about 15 years & used to tell me to do higher studies

There comes the Time!
I decided to study about the Life :) Thus Yoga.

Max from Germany here. 20, having my own IT company and studying computer science & economics.

PS: I love those threads, so interesting to see where other people come from and how they live in different countries.

I don't make much online yet.. still learning things.. and I'm kinda lazy too:D
I love coding and computer related stuff... Still got a lot to learn though...
My high school exams ended on 15th March..
Currently messing my mind with the JEE shit, which I'm not interested in.. but my family is like "You must get into an IIT:cool:"
Thats all about me :D
