where is the best place to find plug-ins for word press? I'm basically looking for a plug-in that allows me to create a membership site out of wordpress, and any other useful plugins as well

The plugin that's opened on that list is for a membership site. Just about anything else you need can be found there as well.

Amember has a good wordpress plugin.
