Where Are All The SEO Studies?? (Single Variable)

I have been in internet marketing since I have created my account here.

I know most of the actions to get rankings, but It seems the community does not have very much agreement on a lot of the specifics.

Are there any concrete search studies that have been done? Preferably, studies that are looking at only one variable?

I understand the hard part is that SEO is always changing since google is a neural network, but I would still really love to hear whether you guys know any still relevant studies?

I'm not affiliated with the Matthew Woodward blog, but his guides are out of this world.

:-| It has some good tips. However, I read about it and he claims "However realistically most people tend to earn around $1,000 to $4,000 per month after their first year of blogging." He's bluffing. Most people earn less than $100.

Wouldn’t all the SEO reports be obsolete because of all the constant Google updates?

If you're doing quality articles 3+ times a week + social media, then it's totally doable. It just takes a lot of work. Most people give up after a few months when they see almost no traffic.
Doing articles that have 2000-5000 words are a gold mine. They will definitely rank in Google, and they will be super interesting for readers, which will result in social shares and email opt-ins.

He says 30k unique visitors, so its around 100k visitors. In average, google ads gives us from $5-$50 per 1000 visitors. So, 100k means $5000 at most. He says $28k, so it sounds inflated. There are several ways to earn money, but it requires a fully functional site (a site with movement visitors). The most site that talks about how it profit, are the same site that sells you a service of SEO.

In sum, it's about: I know the secret of the success and you could earn $5k per month (or $5k per day), if you succeed then it's thanks to me. If not, then it's your fault. It applies to SEO, for-ex (I don't want to hit the spambot), investment and bit-coin

In my experience:
a) ADS is not a good source of profit unless you are running an affiliate program and for this, your site requires movement (that can't be fake, it's easy to phony movement/ analytics). Very few blogs are keeping afloat by only ads. Also, most visitors use ad-blocker.
b) If you are not selling a product or service, then you are not doing it right.
c) Content is king so marketing (that costs money) and cheating (that costs money too).

But, let's say that he earns $28k per month. It's enough to hire somebody else and rent an office and generates more incomes.

I don't trust people that show a face of greed and conformism at the same time.

ps: I'm not saying that he's a liar but he "decorates" the reality and it's good, it is what the peoiple of business do.

Just check his last income report which was in December 2018.
The site doesn't have Google ads at all. Most of the income is from Affiliate marketing, which should be the main income for all blogs. You can always do both: Ads + Affiliate. Many bloggers tend to not show ads to not piss people off.

If you check out other "Online marketing" bloggers, and their income reports, you can see that the money mostly comes from affiliate products & their own info products.

Check out Josh Bachynski on youtube here's the link to his channel. They do single variable tests, and he has a boatload of valuable SEO information you're looking for. This is the best channel for SEO IMO.

i agree. Josh has done pretty good job doing a lot of single variable testing. watch his weekly youtube videos.

also take a look at diggitymarketing.com as well. he shares a lot of lessons learned
