Hi,

I am looking to start a blog network and wanted to know where to host these site. I have looked at many SEO hosting providers that provide different C-class hosting but I think that is a very clear give away as the server are identifiable by google.

So the question is how can one host a blog network without it being very expensive, get different server location, different ips not just different c class ip.

Any pros out there willing to help a noob?

lowendbox.com (not lowendstock)

get some cheap vps hosting accounts like $15 a year the most from several different hosting providers in different geo locations and you are done :)

forgot to add, not to use your own nameservers, but use your registrars dns system and just point your domains to your IPs

Try webhostingtalk for cheap shared accounts, make sure you have different IPs and maybe even use false details when registering domains ;)

I recommend hosting my blog network in different hosting providers, and even different countries. I'll also rent an ip address for each site and use fake whois information as pathart said. Don't interlink your sites and you should be fine.

As pathart said above, you can find very cheap shared accounts on webhostingtalk, they often go as low as 1$ monthly.

But I have to warn you, a private blog network is not cheap at all, but it's still one of the most easiest ways to rank your sites.

@innozemec: Holly s! 15$ a year for a VPS :33: but most 15$ vps have 128mb of ram. php + apache + sql server will rape that ram...

Thanks guys.

VPS although cheap are still expensive if I have to go out and get one for each domain name to get a unique ip.

Webhosting talk seems to have what I am looking for.

Most cheap hosting companies provide different IPs if you get multiple $2.99(or whatever) accounts with them, so it is possible to get 40-100 different IPs just using the top 30 web hosting companies.
