Where and how much for a hipmunk style video

hey everyone, I'm looking to create a video one of my clients wants a video for site similar to the hip munk video. First he wanted a video similar to the dollar shave club, but we decided against it because the production costs. We were quoted were way too high for an actor and live production video so we see the hip munk video as a good alternative.

now one of my developers has quoted me a month of work for him to do it himself. He also does graphics desiign on the side, and for him to learn and do something like that would take him some time, and he's not guaranteeing perfection, though he is a really good designer. for something like this, it would have to be professionally done, and not just someone off of five are offering a cut-and-paste video.

doess anyone know where I can get my hands on something like this, or do you think I should just throw up a job post on freelancer or eLance

There are also places where you can customize already done videos (templates) so you can insert the story of your client. I've used a service like that a few times and it was nice and not too expensive. The plus side is that usually the built in story of the video is well written and engaging, so it tends to work well and leave customers happy.
