I don't think web sites are going anywhere any time soon. Sure there are going to be other areas people push like Facebook, twitter, Instagram and so on. I do think that it will be harder to get a site ranked in the next few years as there will be new verification process in place like checking your site and then making sure you are a real company registered with the state and so on. Anyways that is my 2 cents

In my opinion, websites will always be needed, but they will become less and less relevant as time goes on.

Just ignore all the haters and arseholes. I think you asked a very good question, one that deserves a serious answer, and the answer is yes. All websites will be dead within six months, stock up on bitcoins now, it's the future.
