When will my site on google?

Hey everyone, I've created a wordpress and I started creating it around a certain keyword but then I've changed my mind and decided to change everything. When I go to google to do site:mysite.com it comes up with old information. One link has old information that goes to my static page and the second link is a blog post that goes to "This is somewhat embarrassing, isn?t it". I think It's been around 48 hours but It's still there. Does it take a few days for google to crawl? Should I worry about this or is it time going to fix it? Thanks for the answers.

Depending upon the popularity of your site, it might take some hours to few days to crawl it again and update the information.
 
Honestly for indexing your own site quickly.. the best way is to submit it to them manually. Just google "submit your site to google"... takes about 5 minutes to index.
 
You need to wait for Google to do it's magic. You can do whatever you want, but it'll happen when it'll happen.
You can check your web serve raccess logs for Google bot though, so you can see when it's being crawled.

Also install link juice keeper plugin, this will redirect your 404 to the homepage thus keeping your link juice flowing.
 
I submitted the website to google and it was indexed quickly like Ardley suggested. But the deleted blog post is still there which is really bugging me haha will it drop on its own?

Manually submit your site to google . Submit the sitemap. share on google + , all will be done in minutes.
 
why do it manually? when you can find some good free tools to automate this?
 
You can use one of the instant indexers designed for backlinks to index your own website. Also, you have an option on webmaster tools to submit your domain and all of its urls to google's index.

You can go to webmaster tools->crawl->fetch as google, then click on Fetch (without enetring anything in the field), then submit to index, and tick "url and all linked pages"

Then go to Google Index->remove URLs

This should speed up removal of your page
 
This may happen due to sitemap plugin. Sitemap contains all the data's about the pages and posts by default. If you see deleted post on the sitemap, then clear cookies, cache and browsing history from the browser and check it again. The post will no longer in search result.
 
you should wait for google otherwise you have to do bookmarking and ping..
 
While waiting for fixing the problem you may check any broken page links with google webmasters tools.
