They will stay for a loooong time, same with Youtube.
Userbase is too big, you can provide better services though no one gives a shit.

If they dont stop developing i don't see a end.

the thing with facebook is that yeah, it was better than myspace, but that wasnt the reason it overtook it. it had that college-kids-only exclusivity hook that made people flock to it.

they won't die....never. People are talking about Facebook everywhere. I can't even watch a tv show, cuz they tell us to like them on Facebook. It's getting annoying for me.

What's the point of telling people to like you on Facebook when you run a tv show and you have your own website?? Guess they have a crap website that's why, and they like Facebook more.

People are going crazy after something that's not even impressive.

Until the time comes with technology advances so much more than basic social networking, FaceBook will continue to be on top. The only other way I see FaceBook going down is if someone purchases them, which I found highly unlikely at this point.

Ehh, at ~$70B valuation there's not really anyone who can afford them, nor is Mark really shopping it (he had tons of opportunities to cash out early on).

They will likely IPO in 2012.

It will take a longggggg time I mean just look at how many users they have. Even if facebook was to lose 100-1000 people a day do the math that would take forever.
