Agreed vaccination for HPV will reduce your risk of cervical cancer but again, it is incorrect to say there is a vaccine for cancer. There isn't. Cancer is not a virus. You can't have a vaccination for something that isn't a virus. On top of that, cervical cancer is just one of many types of cancers out there and it's responsible for 10 million deaths a year....we don't see this on the news each day do we?

It's appalling to me that cancer isn't getting coverage a fraction of covid. Cancer and Heart disease kill 20 million a year. They are the number 1 and 2 leading causes of death (not. including natural death). They've been 1 and 2 for decades and we still don't do anything about it or much. Covid deserves the attention it's getting but I also think that cancer and heart disease should also be getting the same amount of attention. Put it on the front pages of everywhere and news channels every single day that another 26,000 people died today of cancer (each day 26,000 people die in the world) and 1600 people die every day in USA alone of cancer. 69 people die each hour in USA alone. That's 1100 people die each HOUR of cancer in the world (children too). None of that is reported on the daily news.

Someone please close this thread and all related. Some of us already understood that some of BHW members are smart and they took the vaccine and others are also smart and won't let themselves to be vaccinated. I really don't care if those vaccinated will die in the next few years from 'other' diseases, wouldn't be able to have kids etc or if those without a vaccine will die from covid 19,20 or the fk is it called. Nobody cares, is natural selection, better fewer in my opinion let's talk about money instead, it's happier

We are going to be wearing masks for another few years IMHO. FYI, i belive it is a man made virus.

I have been in Thailand for a couple of months. For most of the time they had just a few cases and the reason was they only tested a couple of people. Nobody noticed anything. Suddenly they started to heavily test the people and now? 20k cases per day. Out of nowhere, till the moment they started testing you didn't notice or see anything.....and you can call this a conspiracy or not, but they suddenly started testing people when they started producing the vaccine in there....and guess what they sell the people as a solution now? right, the vaccine. By the way; one more important thing: As you should know there is no liability when it comes to the vaccine. Thats quite a thing....but what happens now is: Certain countries with a very low standard are producing vaccines as well and guess what? They don't have liability as well.

I can understand when American, German, Japanese, etc. companies are producing vaccines because I know their work environment is probably on the highest standard, but countries like Thailand producing vaccines with no liability? Must be joke

I don't think its a joke. People have been dying all the time. Do you know how many people die from a flu every year? I have been working in a hospital and I can tell you this: If someone older than 80 years (if they got health conditions its even worse) gets a flu there is a high chance they are going to die...simply because their immune system is weaker. The same goes for HIV patients. Got a flu or pneunomia? It can be deadly.

So here is the solution: Vaccinate everyone (or the ones who want) who are older than 60 years and the ones who belong to the vulnerable group. If the vaccine works and you won't get severe symptoms anymore the problem is solved.

And guys...please let us NOT forget what was the initial idea behind the lockdown and all the other measures. It was to "flatten the curve" and to "protect the vulnerable groups/elderly". Once they vaccinated this group of people there is absolutely no reason anymore to keep up or impose measures like lockdowns. And btw. this is not about "antivax" or "covid hoax". Its common sense...as you can read above I even wrote the vulnerable group should be vaccinated.

But hey, this whole shit is totally out of control. I give you an example: I just checked if I can travel to South Korea. They say: If I got a vaccine (I did, 2x Phizer jabs) with a vaccine in Korea (they also user Phizer) I won't need to go to quarantine, but because I got the Phizer vaccine in Germany I have to go to quarantine for 14 days. So the people get the exact same vaccine, but they are treated differently. What is this about? Isn't it about protecting yourself and others? Why would it matter if I got the same vaccine in Germany or in Korea?

It's not my job to convince others. I reply for the pleasure of replying when I choose to. When I stop enjoying it, I stop replying. I have no contractual agreement that states I must justify all my beliefs.

If you have never seen a valid "antivaxxer" argument, then wonderful. You are free to take multiple jabs and get your bi-yearly top-ups. You don't need my approval or anyone elses, just like they don't need yours to be an "antivaxxer". We all have a right to our own beliefs.

Of course, but my reason for replying is as I said above, purely for the pleasure.

Humans like to share their thoughts and engage in discussion. The difference between me and most others is I'm aware that I'm replying just for the shits and giggles. For the dopamine hit. I'm not under the illusion I'm going to change anything and why should I anyway? I could have it all wrong. I'm smart enough to know that I'm not as smart as I think. Certainly not enough to be telling people how to live their lives with conviction. I just share my take on life and if anyone enjoys it then great. I enjoyed writing and sharing it.
