When will BHW become gender neutral?

How can you guys take someone seriously when they have something like "Gender Blender" listed as gender.

Maybe have "others" as an option for intersexuals but not too many for those confused beings.

These people aren't a problem, those "broad minded" progressives who provide a safe space to them and say it's ok to have an identity disorder are the real shit.

I indentify as a car, I'm TransPort.

No hate tho.

Same reason why YouTube, Google, Twitter, Facebook and others do it.
You need to know your users
But I agree that adding an "Other" option wouldn't hurt

I really don't have a problem with Trans people.

I have respect for anybody who undergoes surgery, because as long as mental illness has been ruled out then you must really want to be a Woman/Man to have you genitalia messed with.
I have tried discussing these issues with my Son but it usually ends with him getting upset.
BUT when it comes to gender it should be simple, do you have a Penis or a Vagina?
This is just my personal opinion and I respect others that may have a differing view.

I had recently a chat with someone who identifies as mayonnaise. Not sure how I feel about that... And yes it was dead serious.

You're talking about sex.

Gender is not sex.

I agree that sex is biological, gender is a social construct and nothing to do with how you are born.

You can decide that male or female does not fit, you can be something else.

All I ask is the owner of the website consider how offensive it is to not be able to display what you are just because you don't fit into the norms.

You all can make fun of me, I don't care.

At BHW we always have been gender neutral. For many years we've listed Male, Female and (unspecified). We chose to use gender in the way broadly defined in the Oxford English dictionary. ref https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/gender
"Either of the two sexes (male and female), especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones. The term is also used more broadly to denote a range of identities that do not correspond to established ideas of male and female."

This in no way reflects on how people identify themselves on BHW, in a world of equality your gender doesn't matter. Rather if you chose to share that information with us then we appreciate it - but we don't actually do anything with it currently. So If you chose to share - that's great - if you don't then no problem.
