When u create too many backlinks won't your video rank down?

So if you create many backlinks to your video won't that make the video's ranking lower?
I see people using programs etc to create thousands of links.

Also, don't you need to index those backlinks? How do people who use backlink programs index them?
If you don't index it, will it index by itself within weeks?
