I'm tired of searching for proxies and having them die on me. I want to buy/rent some proxies or get some kind of permanent solution, so I don't have to spend hours trying to leech them. Could someone explain which proxies are best for which use and which tools. I think this thread would help a ton of people. By type I mean HTTP vs Socks vs L1 vs L2. I read the sticky explination of socks proxies vs HTTP, but still confused on which ones a tool would use or how to test if it is working with a certain tool. Please list your tools and the type of proxy that should be used, or please advise people what proxy should be used.
