When to submit your site for indexing

Started to make a site today,it's not 100% done but it's one of those type of sites that you need to add a lot of amazon products to so it will never really be 100% done.

Have around 7-8 products with 2 categories (unique descriptions too) at the moment,is that enough ? Should I submit it to be indexed now ?

You definitely should submit it to be indexed! Even if you don't have much on the site, you should always look to get your site indexed ASAP. Google's spiders will update your information every time they crawl it.

Yea I was thinking about that.

On my main site I only submit manually to Digg,stumbleupon etc.

For some reason I don't like doing it without manually doing it as I don't want G to think I'm spamming (but tempted not to manually do it now)
 
You don't have to submit your site. Google find it anyway when they crawl servers. Or just tweet your web address and google would find it. Manual submission is a waste of time for search engines now.

Yeah to be honest I never submitted sites before but was just hoping submitting will speed things up :P
 
I personally like to submit the domain right away. Doing StatBlasts (Rapid Indexing tool w/ ScrapeBox -- Be sure to clean your list first for virus infected sites) is a great way to accelerate indexing speed.
 
personaly i dont submit them to ^G any more i just put ^G anlytics and that sorts it plus it basicaly auto submits every page when you view it ...
 
make some bookmarking like digg,reddit,stumbleupon,favs etc and your website will index automatically.You can make some forum profile like joomla,mySQL and submit your profile link to ping/rss and it will index within 24 hours

I prefer to have most onseo done before I get it indexed. But in your case, then would I just get it indexed asap.
 
I don't submit my site to google, i usually build back links and do social bookmarks. It works fine and i think that google sees it as natural process.
 
Personally I never submit websites to search engines it is better when they find them naturally, also much more important i think is indexation of your backlinks which is harder b/c of the quantity than simple page.
 
My site is now indexed on google :D

Took around 2 days I think,is that fast ?

Definitely do that. It's almost worthless to submit directly to the search engines; it takes forever for them to crawl it. Just get it into some social bookmarking sites, and google will find your site naturally.
