Hi guys,

so last week I've made a blog (Wordpress) about travel and secret niche.

I'm pulling around 200 visitors (300 view) per day. I'd like to know if it's the good moment to upgrade my blog to business and start monetizing it

Thank you very much!

upgrade to business? What's that

It's a plan you can buy for 8€ per month, it allows me to add advertising to my site through WordAds (without this plan I can't barely monetize it)

My bad if it doesn't make sence, I'm a total **** in english

ok, WordPress.org is better than .com, cheaper for a start and more flexible

So your site is ending in .wordpress.com ?

Thank you very much! From your experience, are 100 visitors (daily) enough?

@RootSheep
If I upgrade it to a better plan, I'll get the domain name I want (.wordpress.com will be removed)

no 100 isn't enough but it's a start. Your other comment try buying the name from godaddy or other, don't commit yourself to wordpress.com just for a name. Remember they do limit the visitors you get on shared hosting

I agree. I always suggest to buy it from 3rd party hosting because when you do that, you will have 100% control over it since it is your installation not theirs. Wordpress does have their own limitations and you will discover that along the way that eventhough you are a pro user, there are things that you cannot do with your site.

You can start monetizing right away. This can really depend upon the type of monetization methods being used.

Thanks a lot guys, it is helping me a lot. I will take youru advices in consideration!

I just hit 900 visitors yesterday, will buy a domain when my visitors stats is stable!

If you plan to monetize the site, I agree that you should buy the new domain and move the site asap otherwise you will lose many visitors after moving the site.
