when to open patreon?

1. i didnt finish my product yet
2. im thinking about making some more and better trailers and then publish them
3. after publishing trailers i will promote my product (without it being yet finished)
4. after that i should open patreon?

I mean what will you be offering in your patreon?

When you have fans begging you for more, that's right time for patreon. Otherwise it's like opening a store in an uninhabited island.

i see nice. do you have any advice for gathering or retaining fans? i dont know why but im postponing creating social media sites and showing off

You should ideally start with competitor analysis and follow what is already working for them. Generally, social media platforms like facebook, twitter, instagram and snapchat are best sources to drive traffic. You can also funnel the traffic through 2-fold structure like using a main IG account and asking users on other platforms to follow you on IG for more pics or vids. Another method is to use an empty youtube channel with a banner having your social media links, and comment on other videos. Many people check social media accounts out of curiosity.
