Hi, I currently have acc with 2k mostly organic followers (and rest from f/u). Am hitting explore constantly and don't want to destroy organic follow rate so I'd need some advice when would it be the right time. It's in the cat niche and I'm looking to set up either dropshipping or pod personalized store.

Garry Vee says that it should 95 percent value and 5 percent asking for monetization.
So basically dont even think about monetization. Just create value and every so often ask if theyd be interested in something dont force them to do something. Goodluck

Was thinking sth similar. eg rate keeps going up because new posts are averaging 1k+ likes atm. Will have to switch to new set of hashtags soon as well because I'm not getting full potential out of the current ones.

Think it will take too much time to get to such number doing everything whitehat and don't know if I'll be able to monetize it anyways so I'm skeptical about getting into blackhat and automate mother child method

Try to aim for more followers would be my suggestion. Once you reach in 5 digits, you are good to go and you can make much more at that time. Patience and consistency!
