When to invite friends to fan page

Hi all,
When is it most effective & safest to start inviting friends to your fan page:
  1. When you only have a few friends, inviting a few every day or is it best to:
  2. Wait til you have about 5K friends and invite them all in one go?

I think there is no danger in inviting friends. you can invite them to your fan page as you like.

Do you think that if you invite a load at a time (say about 5K) it will have a quicker viral effect than inviting a few at a time?
 
I think its has the same results if it varies just very little.

This is totally up to you. However, if you are going to invite friends to your fan page from the start, I highly recommend that your fan page does not violate FB's TOS. Once you get enough fans (and this number is totally up to you as well), then you start monetizing your fan page.

5,000 invites is really nothing; blast away! However, 50k-100k is a different story.

I suggest you create all of your fan pages on a PVA. Also, it would be best if this PVA is aged a bit, has its profile information filled out, and has some friends. As far as the friends go, you do not need to get crazy with it. Fifty friends should be just fine. You might want to join a handful of groups and pages with the PVA as well (no Mafia Wars or FarmVille groups/pages). I also suggest that you only create one fan page per PVA. My last tip would be to create your fan page, and let the fan page itself age for a little bit before you start blasting out invites. This is totally optional, but it could add some extra security if you want to be extra safe.

One more thing...always have this PVA tied to an exclusive proxy and never use a different proxy for this account!

I think is much better to try to get as many as friends first and then invite them all at once, because this way it gets some sort of featured and it will be more viral and appear more in the right hand on home

also, if all they are from the same niche, group or friends, will be more featured and says like: 6 friends likes "yourfanpage" and thats more attractive to like too

it safe but i do also think it is best to do it with a bang and invite as many frnds as possible in one go. that will create a ripple and masses effect for sure

I totally believe you when you say that this has worked for you, but I would like to warn others that inviting the same people over and over again (especially within the same day) will more than likely piss them off and trigger them to report your group/page. Once again, I am not saying that this has not been working for you, but when I first started out with FB, I did exactly what you are talking about and I received a lot of angry messages from my "friends," I got blocked by a lot of them as well, and eventually all of my pages that I was sending out multiple invites to the same people were deleted.
