aww poor doggie.

I know it's already 7 years late but, sorry for your loss. It sucks when your pet dies. I know that feeling.

i come back to this thread every sept, its a reminder why i came to bhw 2007
to earn $ for cancer bills and it worked, for 2-3 yrs anyways.
and its a way to not forget.

This just deserves a lot of respect.
Everybody can achieve their goals if they just have a reason to succeed.
And there is no existing reason that is more important than family.
You gave her 3 more years and this is just wonderful.
She's now proud watching you from a much better place than earth.
People are lazy, unless they have to. Sky is the limit.

i wear my heart on my sleeve prob why i get alot of flack
but 10 yrs ago when i came here i was at the bottom couldnt go no lower
10 yrs later surpassed anything i thought possible thanks to bhw
got all my toys gizmos gadgets and stuff i prob wouldnt have had
some people reach for the stars, me i reach for a decent roof
over my head, bills paid and a few toys and some money saved
check on 4 fronts, thats enough for me.

I always wondered what made @proxygo this successful. Now I know it is because of your infinite love to your pet.
Love and strong determination always win
All the best further mate, earn more love.

i like animals because i dont get along with people to well due to
being very confrontational when annoyed , i find animals are more loyal
than people and they dont annoy me as much , but thats just me, where all different .

so ill say it now, yes, the 2 month old kitten we took in abandoned is

@proxygo you sire are a legend. I'm a fairly new member but this thread moved me. Thanks for helping everyone and scraping proxies everyday for those who can't afford them for the past 7 years or so without asking anything in return. Warm regards, may cloey rest in peace.

im just tryin to get by like everyone else to look after me/misses/animals
but ty for your comments , 5.30am tired eyes, sleep time.

Aww I seem to be speaking to more and more people lately about losing their pets. Maybe because mine is now at that age? She is 12, 13 in April and has recently gone deaf! As sad as it is she seems to rest better without wondering what all the noises are outside so she is more peaceful. Her back legs are starting to go too when she tries to jump the stairs and she has had an op this year to remove a few little lumps, non cancerous thankfully.

I hear you about having some money to pay for their vet bills and medicine. Its times like that when I realise how fortunate I am. 2 and a half years ago I had nothing and was going nowhere. I was as depressed as I have ever been and had no prospects at all. I was extremely lucky that a guy on here ( not that I was aware at the time ) helped me out online after even after I had "shamefully" copied some of his work. He still gave me some advice and told me there is plenty to go around for us all, just do it properly and take your time with it. He gave me so much of his time and Im not sure he realised just how much he helped me both mentally and in turn financially. I owe him alot, still not bought him a few beers yet but defo plan to meet up in the near future. I wont embarrass him by telling you his name on here but he is a prominent member on here and a great guy!

Anyway thanks for this post, its great to see so many people touched by it and you sharing your personal experiences with us all. I wish you all the luck in the world going forward ;)

@proxygo there is a reason dogs are considered "mans best friend". The amount of happiness and joy they can bring into someone's life is priceless.

As a fellow dog owner, I wish only the best for you and your pups :D

they ask for nothing cept a walk and some food, least u can do for 10-15 years.

You know me too well @proxygo. Glad to see the cat is still doing well. Same with Sadie.

I know all about "sleeping wherever they want".
