When submitting News Articles

When you use sources at the bottom of the article, what exactly are you supposed to source? What If I just basically re wrote one, wouldn't they notice that it's kind of similar? Theres not much ways you can really make news unique with your own words. You can only go so far when writing about news.

If I don't source at the bottom is that 100% declined?

News articles will never be accepted for upfront payment, but only for Performance payments. If you do a re-write and do it well like I have, it should get in for performance payment, but AC will never pay upfront for News Articles

Are you sure? My articles are pretty good

and performance doesn't pay just for submitting? you have to get atleast 1,000 views?

What do I write about? Any ideas....

As long as it's a news report, it won't be accepted upfront, no matter how good your articles are. And only as performance, which is 1.50 per 1000 views.

They accept anything. It depends on what payment you want. If you want a nice upfront payment, you'll have to research yourself on a topic that doesn't have many articles already.

actually f3nny, the very 1st thing i wrote for AC was news and i got $4 for it (and this was just last month). News usually pays $4. It's hard to get accepted in news tho since it will have to seem original.
In my case the article was science oriented and not something overly saturated in mainstream media, so it worked. For my sources I just linked to the scientists' pages about the work they were doing, which was on the same topic.
so to the OP, just link to something about your subject but NOT to the article you rewrote. go deeper, like to a press release, a report, etc, and not someone else's news story.
