I currently have 35 TikTok accounts running. Some accounts are doing very well, while others are very slow. What metrics and timeframe do you use to decide whether to delete an account and create a new one? I don't want to waste time with bad accounts...

To decide whether to delete a TikTok account, monitor key metrics like views, engagement (likes, comments, shares), and follower growth over a 3-6 month period. If an account consistently shows low engagement and minimal growth within this timeframe, it may be worth deleting and starting fresh with a new account.

For slow growing accounts, try changing your activity, your interactions, and your videos to see if it improves for 1-2 months. If there is no progress, the account is likely to have errors and you should close it to free up time for other accounts.

if you have given 3-6 months not seeing results i believe it's time to close those and focus on the working ones

Give each account four weeks to grow. If by week four your videos still get under 1K views and under 1% engagement, close it and start fresh.

Is it actually useful to "close" an account? Versus just abandoning it?

If one account consistently shows low engagement and minimal growth over a 3 to 6 month period, then it can de deleted, you can measure it by views, likes, comments, shares, and follower increases.
