When Should I Create Backlinks?

I made a post on my new blog about a week ago. I'm currently ranking on Google for two keywords. One keyword is ranking at 47 and the other at 55. Now when it comes to backlinks, how long should I wait before I create them? And what backlinks would you suggest I start with for a new site?

If it is informational content, you can start with social media share. You will get some traffic from social media platforms. Then start link building. It's a bit safe. Don't build backlinks for the article that doesn't get traffic.
Guest post links better(From Medium PA and DA sites).
 
I wouldnt waste your time with any links. Your time is much better off creating new content.
 
Regularly update the Creative content to engage your site and Start link building slowly for your main keywords with quality backlinks. Just start with few backlinks and Share your pages in Social Media.
 
Post a lot more content in your niche and let your content be old.

And see where your posts are ranking without backlinks.

If it's still not on the 1st page after some time, you will be required to build backlinks depending on your competition.
 
How old is your blog? You said its new.

There is no thumb rule on when to start building backlinks and when not, but ideally it is advised that let the blog be at least a month old and let it have some reasonable number of posts. say 30 to 40, and then you should start building links IMO.
 
You can create links from day 1, starting from some social profile links. It's natural.
 
Wait for some more time then build social signals/shares. Later you can build links if the ranking not moving up.
 
you can build social links from the start. However, its best to start getting guest posts and quality niche edits once you start getting traffic. It needs to be as natural as possible.
 
You can target more long tail keywords, high quality content, on page stuffs for now. After a month add some high quality links like guest posts, niche edits, and relevant PBN links.

Yes, this is true too. You can share the articles on social media from day 1. It will give your site some good social signals.

However if you want to actively start building links (via guest posts, etc.), I still recommend to have some good amount of content in your blog and if your blog is having age then it will be a plus factor.
 
I would say to focus on creating quality content initially. Then you can gradually create relevant backlinks.

The perfect time to start backlinks entirely depends on the type of content you are pushing your new site.First focus on Publishing unique content for a month. When you're in the flow, writing good, high-quality content consistently, sharing it daily with other bloggers in your niche... then start your link building campaign. And Also build diverse links to look natural.
