When serps jump between 2 places constantly

I have a site that jumps between #1 and #3 on the serps for the past 2-3 months. Is this just a case where I need to add just a few more links so I can stay at #1 ?

Try see if you are getting the same result with accuranker.
Perhaps its jumping in between landing pages.

accuranker? signed up and it looks like its #3, this is a cool tool, whish they had a $10 plan like serpbook, i would move to it..

anyways that doesn't answer my question, so since its #3 and jumps to #1 for the past 2-3 months, do I just need to add a few good back links?

All depends who is skipping ahead,
Perhaps a few good backlinks more would do the trick.
