I have been MIA from SEO for a long time. Before I was using PR and Alexa rank to determine the quality of the site, but now it seems like everyone follows the PA/DA thing.

So my question is when looking at PA/DA what's the levels in terms of sites ranking?

For example

PA/DA from 0-10 = poop
PA/DA from 10-20 = still poop
PA/DA from 30-40 = you're healthy

PA metric is mostly an indicator of how many backlinks the webpage has.
Keep that in mind.

If you go through thousands of pages, you will start to see a pattern between the number of backlinks and the PA of a page.

I opt for Ahrefs DR/UR metrics, although I don't use metrics often. Ahrefs wrote a great article on PageRank, well worth a read.

I'd say 10 DA is a good minimum. But it depends on your budget and how established your existing website is.

What's more important today in SEO is relevance. I'd much rather have a low authority high relevant backlink then the opposite.

Metrics can be manipulated, relevance can't.
