When people follow u do u follow back?

I used to do that and find myself getting " cheated like that "

follow back , than slowly notice followers getting lesser

my content is there , this is why initially and got followers naturally come

but I noticed I follow back , after one day or two slowly noticed followers getting lesser

I dont, if they follow me anyways why should i follow them haha. also you can only follow 7500 people so i couldnt even so it

Recently I stopped following back when I noticed most do unfollow later. Then I noticed most are using bot for the follow.

yea Some account kinda suspicious beside they have 30k followers

Once I see the following to follower ratio I pull back.
For example Followers 17k following 700. I know they will unfollow later.
