I despise paypal, and I won't say what my reaction was to them screwing my business. Them AND the old "stormpay".
Get this, for the better part of a year I ran 10's of thousands of dollars through paypal. Never showed them any ID. I would always remove my funds IMMEDIATELY.
Then I got comfortable (lazy) and left a large amount of money in my account. Suddenly they used the OLD "We have reason to believe that your account was accessed by a third party" trick on me.
That was a complete and utter fabrication on their part.
After almost a year of them collecting fees from my transactions, which apparently was good to them, they became suspicious a "third party" was accessing my account, limited it and collected interest (which amounted to more than the fees they'd get from me in 6 months) off my money.
They caused some SUE-ABLE problems for my business.
...and, of course, they wanted to see my ID.
With another account they limited, they said that needed to see my license for being a "Private Lender" in a Financial Business.
I explained that it was a private company and that I did not need anything other than a Business License. Special financial credentials were not required to operate my business. They kept asking for it until I said "forget it if you guys think that I'm lying or are not intelligent enough to understand what I'm saying" - The account is still limited.
And reading the book "Paypal Wars" only told me what I already knew. A thieving company, founded by educated thieves.
