I used to write short blogs, thinking consistency mattered. But my first 2000 word post outranked 20 small ones.
Depth > Quantity.

Tip: Instead of publishing 5 short blogs, invest in 1 long, detailed guide. It builds authority faster.

What's your sweet spot - short blogs or long - form guides?

truth. quality pages age better. long guides stack backlinks, keep users longer, and feed EEAT. stop chasing count, start building hubs.

Very nice post @Rankifydev I’ve faced a similar situation one good long article performed much better than many short posts. My thinking is simple: if the topic has good depth and scope, then long-form content works really well. But for small or specific topics, a short and clear post gives better results. In the end, a smart mix of long pillar content and short focused articles, with regular updates, gives the best outcome. And of course, matching it with the user’s search intent is very important.

Exactly. Long form content lets you dive deeper, keeps people engaged, and signals value to search engines.

in depth posts not only attract readers but also encourage backlinks and shares, boosting your site’s overall authority.
