I've just started drop shipping this past week and I sold 2 items. My account is old but I've never sold anything before so it's still limited. Should I try to call them and ask to raise the limit or should I wait? also, do I have to tell them how much I want my limit to be or do they decide?

What website you are talking about ?

If paypal the sooner the better, since if you happen to be limited you can loose business and that's so easy to avoid that you absolutely should try to avoid it.

I buy on amazon and sell on ebay. I'm using my personal paypal account, is that a bad idea?

I wouldn't use your personal, mine got perm limited for not even doing anything wrong except not providing enough info, You will regret it

If you absolutely must have your personal paypal account not limited, ever, I wouldn't sell with that account.

Yes it is a bad idea. Next time make sure you separate your personal and business account to avoid any headache in the end. For limited issue, there's a paypal service here on bhw, his username is secondeye if I'm not mistaken. He can help you to remove the limit.

Wow I'm retarded, I should have probably worded it better. I meant to say that my ebay account is limited to selling only 10 items per month and I want to increase that limit. My papyal account is fine but based on the replies I think I'll make another one to keep my personal one safe.

if youre account is legit then ask as many times as you want through there live chat. I always had to wait a month before they increased again and yes they decide not you.

You can ask for a selling limit increase every 30 days. If you've never asked for a limit increase before, then you can call in right away, though I would wait until you are closer towards reaching the limit than not. They have guidelines to only increase your item and cash limits by up to 100% each call, though they can increase the limits more in your first call (maybe your first few).

I was restricted to ten items started selling a little bit on ebay of personal stuff and quickly got upped to 30 items automatically.

If your information is all legit you can request as many times as you want. You can also confirm your identity on ebay through their security questions, and it also helps to hard link your paypal if you haven't already done so. If you choose to call them to request higher selling limits, DO NOT say that you are droppshipping. Ebay does not like this, and will often mark you as a high risk seller. Always say you have these items in your possession.

I do it as often as I want - sometimes they refuse, sometimes they grant me an increase. There's no rhyme or reason in eBay Land, as it's run by a load of monkeys!

Ask just as you're approaching your previous limit. Works everytime for me
