When is it safe to add link to bio?

Hey guys first off I'd like to thank you all for all the amazing info in building IG accounts... I don't know what I'd do without the help of BHW.

I recently started an account (on Oct 27th) and using FL to built it up in the mens fashion niche. Currently at 1500 followers...I don't have any info in my bio currently because I saw here on the forums people claiming that they got banned when they added link in the bio(not sure if true but wanted to stay on the safe side myself). Do you all know about how long you think before it is safe to add a link to my website in the bio? Thanks!

You can link to anything but just don't redirect to affiliate links.
Get a domain and redirect if you're going to do that.
But you should have no problem linking to your site, blog, or even facebook page then promote offers on fb.

Yes people are getting ban just because they have added their affiliate link directly but if you have a website then surely you can add that to your bio.
