It doesn't matter when you install the plugin however you may want to set it up before you start posting content. Webmaster tools and analytics really have no bearing on third party plugins installed on a WP site and vis versa.

Not at all mate, no. Just click the 'Check' link near the update button in your post if you make any changes and the plugin will do its job checking once again. Honestly, install it whenever you want. It's a cracking little plugin to be fair.

No, it just means you might find content needs to be updated. Yoast is good at "grading" web page content and meta data... so it is more convenient and practical to install it before writing the content.
