Hey guys,

Does anyone know why, when I post a comment on a YT video, a lot of the time it does not show in the comments?

It's not because it needs to be moderated or because the person does not allow comments, because then it wouldn't let me in the first place. It also does not say "pending review" it just says "OK" but a lot of the time, even after it says "OK", the comment does not show?

How can I avoid it ?

Thanks!

do you put a link in it? Do you use a bot? Are you trying to promote something in your comments? Do your comments make sence?

The comment does not show instantly, you have to wait some minutes to have it visible. Depends also on the video, a video that have almost no traffic/comments in which you post comment may appear instantly just after you see OK. But there are of course other videos where you must wait several minutes (up to hours sometimes) to have it appear.

I am using a bot at the moment, but I have found this is weeks ago when I was manually trying to comment some videos.

So, S-Sheep, do you think all of the comments successfully posted WILL show, but some may just take a few hours to be put onto the video? Or are some just 'scrapped' and not put onto the video at all?

At the moment I am spinning comments, but I wanted to ask as this was a problem when I manually commented some videos.

You do not have to wait, comments show up instantly unless

1. Comments are set to be approved by video uploader.
2. You're Comment is marked as spam by youtube filter (What happened to you)

To fix this you need to spin your comment. Use different keywords / synonyms/ links/ comments structure.

Good luck

Hi Mig,

Thanks for that.

I have spinned them a bit and put a fair few synonyms in, but I guess it was just not enough!

Yes, at the time I was using the same IP from my knowledge. But then later I loaded some proxies and had 2 YT accounts loaded in YouTube advertiser, and they were running off of different proxies - but then YT disabled my account. I figure it's because I'm an idiot and had the accounts sign on / off from a list of about 20 proxies, even though I only had 2 accounts.. so basically, the accounts were constantly signing in from different IP's every 20-30 seconds and posting a comment - obviously a silly thing for me to do.

So I guess for next time, have each account running off of a different IP (so they all appear to be unique) and limit the comments to one every 1-2 minutes, and make sure that they are spun(sp?) well with a lot of synonyms?

hmm..maybe is either the approval from author or your comment is too short or too common which look similar to bot poster

Yep, I am definitely not referring to the 'need to be approved' comments, I am talking about the ones where the "OK" pops up but the comment just does not show.

At the moment I am looking at uploading a few videos and promoting with affiliate link. Having some trouble getting my "sexy" niche videos sticking, so I am just experimenting with that at the moment. As soon as I get a spare few minutes, i'll load up YT advertiser with a couple of YT accounts and set them to spam comments.. hopefully it is still effective. I have a domain name now with auto redirect to a sign up page for an affiliate offer, so at least I have something to spam. I will give this a go soon!
