When I build a backlink, can Google see my IP address?

Are you serious?
That's why we're using Private proxies? Ah,and I thought we were using them to avoid getting banned on sites where we post/spam constantly :D

Google can ONLY read what's on the site source and make it's assumptions from there. There are no popular platforms for link building that are displaying the publisher's IP,at last,I don't know any!
Unless google made a special filter to monitor the ip's of some platform displaying IPs,the answer will always remain,NO!

That's what i said ! People are using proxies to make the link building natural to google. You add some good information to your site and lots of people are sharing it and giving you a credit via backlinks. Lots of people = diversity in geo locations = different IPS !!! So, that it looks natural to google that the content is being shared around the globe !

:/ i don't know what you didn't understand

No. Google can see the I.P of the website where the backlink is on. Why are you afraid? Google does not need to go through minor information to look for footprints. If they want to find out a network or dodgey backlinking they will regardless of your I.P

No they can't see your IP when you build a link.

However they do know about all the porno sites you're surfing so I recommend switching from Chrome to another browser.

Who said I was afraid?

No they can't unless you create a link on website owned by Google. But still I don't think they care about that.

Of course they care about it. If you are BUILDING backlinks, Google cares. Especially what I'm doing (spinning articles).
