I mostly think of cryptocurrencies whenever I see FOMO mentioned.
Today a good crypto investment yields 10X.
The days of turning $7 to $50k are gone IMO.

While you are correct, newbies don't know or understand this.
A lot of these "gurus" don't tell you that you need to invest money to make money. They will sell you a monthly sub course and then will tell you you need these discount expensive tools to make the "system" work ( with which they are conveniently affiliated with ), until you are dry as f.
I've seen countless product FAQs about minimum investments required. Like minimal investment is $100 for paid ads lol. But they don't tell you that unless you actually want to make it, you need to 20x that amount. And you can safely assume that 95% are not the people who want to make it. They are the people who feel good about thinking about making money, not actually working on it.
No wonder this niche is evergreen and all those bullshit WSOs make good sales. People still believe in Santa clause and fairies.
