When exactly I submit to Google News?

Hi, I want to submit my site to google news. I submit my sitemap with news format. I use WP. My sitemap is built by Google News Sitemap Generator. For several days it is OK with green tick. The green tick has been replaced by thr Red X since yesterday. I rebuilt and resubmit sitemap, but Red X still there. Should I submit my sites to Google News or I wait it until green tick back? Will the green tick back automatically? Any ideas?

You need to build 3 months of posts then contact G news - you cannot just submit xml news feed.
