I'm a beginner in the SEO stuff and I'm doing a lot of research and learning. I've seen many tutorials, threads and tips but I haven't really come across tips on TIMING. After you create your website and finish with the on-site SEO, when should you start link building, posting on social websites, posting videos, comments etc?

When should I start posting links on my official social profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc)? Should I instantly post links to the articles right after I finish my website?
When should I start making web 2.0 websites (wordpress, blogger etc) related to mine and build links that way? Also, how much should I do? I know there are a lot of lists with 2.0 websites, but should I do all ~100 as fast as I can or should I make 2-3 web 2.0 websites weekly?
When do I start adding my website to directories?

So basically, my questions are WHEN do I start link building/social signals and how often should I do it?

As soon as you want, but I like waiting until my articles start ranking naturally so I know I'm on the right track.

For new site make timeout, for old instantly after article publish

I usually build a few links to my articles immediately after posting them and once I see how well they are ranking for my keywords (most of them are low competition), I build more backlinks.

I wouldn't take it so seriously on your place. If you can put quality link, do it. Just keep the link velocity natural.

Yes I got you, You learned a lot from many source. But as I am a noob in SEO I want to give you a free advice:

Just dont start link building before you buy the Domain.

Why would someone do that? I mean if you don't have the domain, the link would not work anyways for a backlink. So that is kind of dumb thing anyways to do. Who would do that? I am kind of a newbie too, since I never had one site up longer than a year. So to me that even sounds stupid to do. I wait until I have a least a domain and site going live first.

Some people do not understand that their website is separate from their domain. They do not understand concepts such as domain authority and manual penalties that are applied to a domain (which is how people create churn and burn websites. It's the same website and content, just a different domain). It may seem stupid to us, but to someone who is new to all of this, it can be a great realisation.

Of course. I'm a noob in SEO but I do have a lot of exp in web development and hosting.

Anyway, thank you all for your answers, they helped me a lot with my seo plan.

Doesn't matter. As you publish the articles, bookmark those. Those will get indexed really fast that way. Just build links slowly and you will be okay.

I like waiting a bit before link building. It give me the chance to evaluate the strength of the article and how much work i may have to put into it.

Since your site is new, start your process in slow step and choose quality backlinks.

If you go in this way you will be on right track hopefully.

Here is a method I tend to keep in mind, how often do most websites explode in the first month?
