I personally started dabbling in both BTC and ETH around ‘17 - mostly using it for payments and not necessarily as an investment.
Started heavily DCAing in BTC around ‘21/‘22.

2014. I made the mistake of thinking btc would never make it mainstream, so i mined altcoins with gpu and changed into cash. regrets....

I had received my 1st BTC in 2022, but I lost all of that because I couldn't find my seed phrase of Coinbase wallet.

2013. I sold in 2022. In the mean time I was scammed twice but never lost all of my coins. I was able to take a substantial amount of liquid cash out of the market so no regrets. I have since become a bitcoin skeptic. Back in 2013 there was no talk of bitcoin becoming a valuable speculative asset. The idea back then was that some sort of parallel economic system would arise. I once spent 5 bitcoin on some absurd and shady bitcoin stock exchange where you could buy bonds from random people and shares in a Russian far east fishing business. There where hundreds of different investments avaliable to invest in. It's hard to believe now that this was once taken seriously but it was. Everything on that exchange was wiped out in due course. Take a look though some of the (bitcoin) forum posts around that time. I was into agorism at the time which was quite common among active bitcoin enthusiasts then.

I'm running seed phrase scripts now. did you use a 12 or 24 key phrase? the scripts I'm testing are filling in missing words. Just 1-2 words missing its cracks it in seconds for 1 word, 4-20 minutes for 2 words, 3 words+ its hard. if you have any part of your seed phrase things can be bulk run and possibly found. you need your partial phrase and bitcoin address.
