When did indexing a site get so hard?

Using a couple tools I use to be able to get a new domain indexed within 24 hours. Its been about 3 months since I bought a new domain, but I bought one the other day and I cant for the life of me get it indexed!! Ive ran it through scrapeboxes rapid indexer, ran it through a script that sends it to "whois" type sites, tweeted it, bookmarked it a few times, and added it to google webmaster tools.

Any idea WTF is going on here? Its been 4 days so far and nothing!

Putting up any solid links that get indexed fast gets my site indexed within 24h.
 
Tip (works for my new sites): Go to howismysite.com click on the submit thing, and then open up all the 10 links it gives you..... Then grab all these urls and go to pingfarm.com

Job done!
 
Submit your site to Digg, it will be indexed in like 10 hours...
 
Looks like the domain you bought was already burnt by someone else and is probably banned by G.

I doubt that, its a pretty unique domain. Anyways I hope thats not the case.
 
hahaha well Im an idiot. when doing a site: search I forgot to add " " around my domain. So its indexed!
 
Good to hear. Usually is it not a problem :)
 
You can also use site:yourdomain and then you will get a full list of all you indexed pages.
 
I never understood why people want their site indexed ASAP.. if its been more than 24 hours, they go crazy... I never do anything to index my sites, i just start with the typical social bookmarking, directory submittings etc.

They always index within a day or two.


If its for Search engine traffic you want it indexed fast it wouldnt matter, as you aint ranking for anything anyway right when its indexed.

If your using youtube/fb and similar for promoting, your giving direct links anyway, so if its indexed or not shouldnt matter there either.


So why is it everyone want instant indexing? Share the secret please, because i cant see the reason :)
 
same here man, 2 of my websites arent getting indexed. it makes me mad...
 
You guys using firefox along with seoquake extension? I cannot believe how the OP cannot understand here that his site is indexed. I will give some simple well known tips:

1) Use twitterfeed or ping.fm
2) Use these sites/tools:

If you are using wordpress, do not forget to have "xml sitemap" plugin. And in the dashboard, go to "setings-writing". There, put a decent list of ping servers.

Always my favourite solution.
Be aware peeps for some reason or other Digg will not admit submissions from ezine so no point in trying to get a newly published article indexed via this route.
Mind you being ezine it should get crawled quite quickly anyway.
 
I just sent a link from my favourite forum and it got indexed within hours :) I'm not sure if it was the forum or coincidence, but I'll try the digg thing next time!

I think when we create a new site we just want to start playing around with it :D its a fun new toy. So we want it indexed asap :D
 
i just registered a domain 15 minutes ago, installed wordpress, made a post, and its STILL not indexed. wtf is taking google so long? shouldnt i be ranking on the first page for "weight loss" by now?

Make 10 unique posts (atleast 200-400 words articles).
Put them up and you will get indexed in matter of hours.

Make sure you edit your ping list (add 50 +-) in WP settings..

Get google XML ; feed submitting ;All-in-one SEO plugins
& make 10-20 GOOD quality backlinks
