What do you need?
You can rent a VPS with large HDD space for less than the equivalent on the platforms you mentioned, it depends on your needs…

1) Annual plans go with great discounts
2) As for One Drive: they offer better price for Family plan - you have to coop with somebody and everybody in the "family" pays less
3) Wait for discounts, connected with Black Friday, Christmas and so on
