I'm sure you all know about the fake hacks niche. I got one for WhatsApp Hack registered on a .in (India) domain. Now, my host tells me that the domains is not pointing to the host, altough on name.com I got the nameservers pointing to my host. My site is not alive.

On the website I pointed to a fake archive with PPI. Could I have any legal issues ?

Regards.

Considering that facebook now owns whatsapp, you should see more action by them against those kind of sites. Avoid using the name "Whatsapp" in your domain name and save yourself the headache

On whois it shows me STATUS:HOLD.

whatsapptricks.in

will be more safe then whattsapphack.in

Its better to leave out those kinds of domain as you might end up violating trademarks and stuff.

Yea, I get it. But can they ban my domain without letting me know ? The guys replied me with the date I last changed nameservers and blame it on the host. On the host I see that the nameservers are not pointing to host...

STATUS:HOLD definitely shows some issue, so better resolve it with the registrar.. your host has nothing to do with it

i second that .... you could use other keywords related to it but not the same

Thank you for your email. This domain and others were placed on hold due to .IN anti abuse policy. If you have any further questions or want to dispute the hold then please contact our compliance department on [email protected] and they can assist further.

Is that bad?
