No-one else loves the irony that the subject line has "you're" when it should have been "your"? Oh well. 145 by the way (from formal testing, not some web site).

@ wrangler - my initial reply was:

my iq is high enough to know that you're not using your correctly

but I decided not to post it. :)

I've also toyed with taking the mensa test but decided not to because I just really don't care that much. I've already taken a few different tests for various reasons so I don't need to pay to take another one to tell me I have a high IQ. Having a high IQ doesn't put money in the bank so I'd rather focus on something I enjoy or something I benefit from in a tangible way.

172 last time I tested. It really doesn't mean anything, though.

I would rather be dumb and happy than always be over thinking, over analyzing and emotionally calloused with those who actually give a shit about me.

What would you rather have - a high IQ or a hot gf? That is the question.

OMG that's so funny. The VERY FIRST thing I thought when I read the subject line! lol
I've been meaning to for a long time too. My friend in college was in it, also a member of Psi Chi. All of the mensa members around my area are like 50+ though and all they do is play scrabble.... :( I want to be part of a Mensa group where people are 20-35 years old and they're all trying to change the world or something. Like a young TED group. Has anyone here heard of TED? (other than spamming their website):(

I actually did that test and then they wanted my CC # to order a certificate

Waste of time. It didn't even show the score.

MENSA has different requirements. You don't even have to take a test necessarily. You can qualify just by your SAT scores. As long as you pay the dues.

It pisses me off when people treat me like I should be this super successful mega-wealthy person who turns lead into gold just because they think I'm smarter than they are.

I'm like.... don't you think YOU'RE smarter than say... LeBron James?
