What's your technic to scrap expired domains?

Hello Everyone,

I have tested a bunch of services to buy expired domain name (like domcop, hammerhead or PBNHQ) but I was just wondering if you achieve better result by scraping them yourself?

I own Scrapebox and I am ready to buy the premium add-on if I can have good results. What would you suggest? Should I use external services or should I use Scrapebox? Knowing that I don't need to buy 100 domains, 5/6 would be fine :)

You should be fine with scrapebox, but meh just go to expireddomains.net. You can find loads on their. I'm in the adult market, just yesterday I found 5 domains.

Get a majestic SEO membership.
 
Yeah I've checked expireddomains.net but couldn't find what I was looking for.
 
What exactly were you looking for?

You really will struggle finding the best domains being a newby... I got tf15, rd20 domains yesterday all niche relevant...
 
I'm looking for domain in business/electronic, language EN and/or FR. With descent metrics and good amounts of backlinks.

All of those domains have clean links, tf10~ (rd is a little low, but they have niche relevant links that you want... your filter is very strict.)

I prefer using ahrefs for scraping expired domains. They have the best crawlers around in my opinion.
 
Ahrefs is proving to be the go-to tool nowadays and there are several threads that explain how to use it for this purpose.

You will have hard time finding domains yourself. Well finding... finding them is the easiest part actually. Checking them properly so you won't register penalised or toxic crap is the problem. So unless you have some decent experience in this regard, it's better for you to simply outsource.
 
I go with ahrefs if I'm feeling energetic or Domain Hunter Gatherer if I'm feeling lazy. The latter is best run on a vps and loaded with private proxies
 
Here is my technique in scraping expired domains that can use for PBN using Register Compass

1. To look for potential expired domains, I just go to registercompass
2. Make sure expired domains is spamfree/clean, I check all backlinks into archive . org website - I have my criteria in choosing expired domains
3. Domain should have high metrics on Majestic and Moz -
4. If I found potential expired domains, I will register that domain immediately, finding and registering domain name is also competition

I have tried domcop, hammerhead, etc.. but using those, I am having hard time finding domains that have high metrics
