Google is rolling out Agent Payments Protocol, letting AI bots transact with stablecoins. Combine that with Tether’s U.S. stablecoin launch and new EU-regulated euro stablecoins and it’s clear the digital payments landscape is shifting.

The new web-economy is just starting to make sense in the web3.0 era. I'm not impressed yet though, because de-centralized payment protocols shouldn't rest solely in the hands of large corpo's, nor governing bodies without any policymaking background in technology or macro-economics.

Still tho, it's a good initial step towards a more pro-active future and accessible finance for the majority of demographics. Looking forward to see how these moves will unfold in the future and cross-compare to one another, from a digital perspective but also long-term (bystander) crypto-enthusiast.

any updates on cross-chain AUGUR implementation through EVMs -smart contract calc's ?

Feels like the beginning of something big, like how APIs changed the internet years ago

This is the first meaningful step in integrating AI into the crypto space. If an AI agent could be successfully tied to a smart contract and guaranteed to be free from external influence, it would be the most powerful innovation yet.

For example, an AI agent could lock payments temporarily upon detecting financial anomalies. This kind of system would be able to stop smart contract hacks and attempts to drain funds from liquidity pools.
