Whats your suggestions on the potential on this website?

My friend a couple days ago registered a website with Namecheap. He doesn't want me to leak the name of the website to anyone just yet. I can say theres a youtube channel that has around damn close to 2 million subscribers. The username of the youtube channel is also his website url that just redirects back to his youtube. His video from 2 weeks ago is damn close to 2 million views already and all his videos get up to the millions quick as hell. He has a second channel that he started doing Vlogs and both his channel interact with each other that channel is about a month old and only has around 120,00 subscribers though just because I don't think many people notice he has a second channel yet. You would think he would of registered his vlog channel as a website url also to point it back to his youtube channel but he hasn't, so thats what my buddy registered.

The dude has been talking about probly being on tv soon and he's been posting vids to back that up, I shouldn't say much more but he could be making the big times soon and ranking in the cash. So basicaly my friend has his unique name website registered thats as same as his youtube username and and I know this dude on youtube is going to want it. My buddy is basically going to use a tube template and link all his youtube videos to it and post a tab saying the website is for sale. Probly going to spam his videos with comments till the guy realize's about the url. Do you think that is a shitty move or too bad for that dude if he wants it he's going to half to pay for it? I mean if it don't work out my friends' only out 10 bucks so its a chance to flip the site without any traffic, seo, or anything and just taking the chance the dude wants this website and going to dig deep for it.

-Also if anyone has ever listed a domain for sale on Namecheap can you still do work to the site while its up for sale or does the site go dead and you can't work on it while its for sale?

If you have a domain name this guy "might" want, why would you spam his comments just to piss him off ? Why would you put his own content on a site he might want ? I don't know what you two are smoking, but I'd like to try it. Have you done any trademark searches ?

Before you two start brainfarting anymore ideas, It might be wise to search and get familiar with current domain squatting and cyber squatting laws before you do anything else...

You guys know that there can be many variations of a single name right? I for one can be very creative when it comes to getting the domains I want..

Don't make a negative impression. Try to contact him in every way like youtube message, email, facebook, twitter, and always with the same username and the same message, probably in capital letters.
