I've just got back from having a meal and a few drinks with my close family and decided to write this thread. Over the past few days I have interacted with a few bhw members and read a few really good threads. To my conclusion this is the best ever forum I have ever come across! I'm not trying to brown nose or anything but it is in my opinion. I have come across a few people who are just out to make money and trample over anyone who gets in their way, but the majority seem to be helping each other out, for instance I came across a thread about a guy who became homeless and is now trying to do what he can to get by. I was amazed by the response he got by good hearted people who were giving him help and even sending him money. I have never seen that before and I think it is great, especially in the world we now live in.

So my question is this , what is your story? How have you got to this chapter in your life and what inspires you to make money?

I will start off with mine, and I don't want no sympathy, as what has happened to me has made me the person I am today, and although I probably will get flamed, then let them flame me. I have just been inspired to write something through this forum and I am going to write it, and hope more people will share their stories too.

    My Story

My Dad left me when I was about 3 years old, and went and moved abroad when he got out of prison,I grew up with my Mum and two older brothers. I had a pretty normal childhood I guess up until I was about 8 years old. My brothers were 9 and 10 years older than me, so they would often babysit me with a few of their friends, in which they would often get stoned and drunk but all in good fun as they would always be good to me and include me, apart from the drugs and alcohol. A few years later though the dope would turn to harder drugs and both of my brothers became addicted to heroin.

At 13 years old heard a thud on the floor from upstairs, once upstairs I found my oldest brother on the floor blue to the face and not breathing. My other brother was their and shouted at me to ring an ambulance in which I did and relaid the instructions to give mouth to mouth etc. I had never been so scared and thought my brother was dead or going to die. He didn't die though and the ambulance came shortly after and revived him.

This didn't stop my brothers though, and they are both still on it to this day and I am 27 now. Throughout my life I have had to visit them in prison which is not a nice place in any way especially when you are young!

I guess this made me stronger though as I have never touched drugs after seeing what I saw, The other factor was that 3 of their friends who used to babysit me had later died from the heroin.

My Mum has had a tough time, with two of her sons on drugs and in and out of jail. I had to try and make her proud and got into the building trade as a wall and floor tiler. I later went on to have a beautiful son who is now 4 years old and a right cheeky bugger (and is sat on my knee right now playing with his cars lol) There is a lot more to my story with the ups and downs but I dont want to become boring...

Anyways I have always been interested in making money online and have joined numerous forums in order to try and pursue this, but never made it until I somehow stumbled upon BHW (i still don't know how i did) So after reading and reading lots of threads I came across a guy called 'crashed' and he was doing a 30 day challenge and that's were it all started. I've always been interested in websites but never knew were to start etc, but through following his thread I learnt how to set up my own website and install google AdSense. I've been doing it just over a month and made £0.79 although this may not sound much to you, but to me it gave me the belief that through some hard work i can actually make money online.

I also signed up to postloop and got my first bit of money into my paypal yesterday, it was only £3 but its the most i have ever made, and i only had to spend a few hours posting on forums.

My motivation for making money online is to try and help my family out, I want to show my brothers that you can make money other than selling drugs and using them. And I hope that one day I can get them off the drugs and make my Mum proud. I also want to show my friends that you can do it, as some of them are not interested when I talk about it and think its a waste of time. I want to see the look on their faces when I show them how much i can make (hopefully)

I also in the last few days received a letter telling me that i am being taken to court to get my house repossessed unless i can pay more money on top of what i pay now (damn bills lol) So i now know that I have to act and do something or else me,my gf and son will have no house left.

But i know that by keeping on this forum and reading the things in front of me that I can and will succeed one day!

To the newbies, you can make money but you need to read the forum first. I know its impossible to read all of it, but use the search bar to look for the things you like and start from there. You wont make money over night, but if you keep chasing it then I believe one day you will, and I hope people will back me up on this through thier stories.

I know I'm babbling on now but I hope this may have helped someone alone the way? and people will post how they got to were they are now and what inspired them. And if you want to flame me flame me, but i am not asking for any help as i know its all here on the forum and I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, there are people who have had much worse lives than me and will never have anything good, which is a shame but that is how the world is, we can only help each other the best we can, and that I what I want to do here :)

    Great story I enjoyed it.

What started it for me was around 6 months ago I was botting accounts on the game Runescape and realized you could make quite a bit from getting gold and then selling the accounts you botted. I did this for a few months until later stopping where I made maybe $300.

I then went on to other things and browsed other forums for methods on making money and got involved in some blackhat stuff with adsense, got in a click ring and clicked each others ads. During the process, I needed traffic to lower my CTR and someone recommended me to BHW to a member here to get 10k hits for $5. I registered and bought it. Then at the end of the month I got the banhammer from google and was pretty upset. I was doing some pretty stupid stuff though lol.

After getting those hits I decided to just browse these forums and then I just got hooked and started reading a lot and now I'm actually starting to see some money coming in.

I can relate to your past situations as I'm sure many here can. Many of us have had things happen in our past that haunts us. I know that I have.

MY main motivation in doing this is to do something fun. After 40+ years of either working for someone or being in business, or both at the same time, I wanted something different.

This is something that I can do that doesn't require physical assets if I choose not to. A brick building and equipment is a huge investment. I've owned a night club, a transportation company, and a vending company , so I know about physical assets.

This is much more fun, but it takes just as much prowess and intelligence as running any other business.

Good luck to you in the future my friend.

I logged off after I sent my message last night, so have just seen these. Thanks for sharing your stories and I wish you luck in the future. Hopefully we can all help each other out here on this forum at one time or another :)
