Hello BHW'ers

It's this time of the year where we give thanks for all the blessings (and even misfortune) for the whole year. It is also a slight mark where we are reminded that the year's about to end, and another opportunity will be coming around.

For me, it's been a roller coaster ride, with the later half of the year struggling due to an untoward incident. Up until now, we're grinding from the way up, hopeful we'll get more "harvest" by next year, apart from the fact that one person told me to eff-off in SEO and quit altogether with life (yeah, sounds like bullying, right?)

Anyhooooo, the tide is about to flip and I just want to share my "making money resolution of 2018", starting from the topmost priority...

1. Get more project base clients and recover some of old clients. Target to start would be somewhere around December, but I am now in the process of recovering old clients.

2. Launch the Guest Postin platform. I will post detailed info about this, but I am pretty sure everybody will LOVE it. Basically the platform is like Fiverr, only that, it is made entirely for Guest Postings. IM'ers will deal with the real owners of these bloggers.

3. Opening up a JV. We're thinking on partnering up with someone who can do magic on marketing, and we'll do the SEO'ing (where we are good at).

4. Pump up our sites. We've been doing this as a hobby, we don't actually pay money to get the sites ranking, but instead, we use these sites to pitch our guest posts and build relationships. So by next year, I'm hoping to scale up on these sites, so we don't only see trickles of sales.

5. Rent out siggy. Hopefully with the 4 resolutions above, we're able to stabilize back our business and rent out my siggy.

6. Shopify revisit. So I was inspired by @YousB. I am also one of those people back in early 2015 to do Shopify + DS but gave up due to spending too much in ads and not getting sales. So, I will put this in my hobby-zone in lieu of our affiliate sites, read and learn stuff.

7. Start a farm. If there is one thing I've learn this year, it's about not putting all your eggs in one basket. We were too succumb with IM, that we forget to invest in another thing, which is far more viable and physical. We already have a land to till, we're clearing up the ground and raise some chickens/goats by January.

How about you? What's your Making Money Resolution 2018? Let's hear it and let's inspire other people as well...

My focus on 2018:
  • Launch 3 high value and superb quality SEO services within BHW. These are well under way but I will be going hard at this as I think I have a lot to offer.
  • Build out my team, move away from consulting and freelance work and shift more to the IM market. Dealing with business owners who want value from every penny is intense and exhaustive, however getting paid $XXX for a link package and delivering is much easier.
  • Build a SaaS based around crawling and site audits.

Same as this year, bend the rules as much as i need to, to make a profit.

My resolution is to scale everything I've done that has earned me money this year.

Hi,
- Need to release other plans for my software.
- Need to invest money in ads and do a lot of tests. For me this is the hardest because my marketing skills are not that good.
- Invest in CPA.
- Invest in Micro niche blogs.
- Create videos for my software.

First, Ask yourself - Did you achieve your resolutions for 2017 yet?
Be realistic!
If you had resolutions in 2016 for 2017 and did not/was not able to achieve them but already drafting another for 2018, then you need some serious FIXUP! Not resolutions!

Got some ideas for next year written down on a paper, some of them need more work some less, I'll start working on them next week when I get back home.
My goal for 2018? Grow my income to a stable $1000 a month. It might sound like a low amount but the fact that I'm still in school keeps me away from investing as much time as I'd like to invest.

Mine is to finally get my youtube channel(s) going. I wanted to get it done this year, but I got a job as a teacher in another town away from home. I had to plan a move which is always hard. Now that I'm settled and have a sure thing paycheck coming in, I can get started.
