What's your largest commission from e*b*a*y?

Is it harder to get accepted to ebay? Why is CJ ending? When I filled out an app for neverblueads i got a phone call and was grilled for 10 minutes. By the time the call ended I was drenched in sweat.

Jimmy078,

Getting your eBay Partner Network app accepted isn't hard. The key is your method of promotion has to match the TOS for the country program being applied for. Each country program is different as far as what will or will not fly for acceptable methods of promotion. I believe SEO is the only universally OK method - at least that's what got me approved for all of EPN's programs.

Thanks Xray, that's good to know...I just don't know why when I applied to neverblueads several months ago they kept asking what I was going to do, how was I gonna do it, what are the websites, blah blah so now I'm just nervous since Ebay is more well known they're gonna blast me. But thanks for clearing some things up to better tell them what I'm gonna do. :)

Another $94 commission yesterday

You're welcome, but you can relax Jimmy - EPN won't be calling you. Everything is done online.

For CJ ebay affiliates concerned about getting approved for EPN, I found this on their blog in a FAQ post:

How does eBay determine application acceptances/rejections?

eBay Partner Network (and each eBay Advertiser) may use different sets of rules to accept affiliates. In some cases, these rules may differ from Commission Junction. This means that we may not be accepting publishers previously accepted - and in other cases, we are now accepting publishers who were not previously accepted. If you were recently rejected and previously belonged to the eBay affiliate program with Commision Junction, please contact us and provide your PID information so we can further investigate. The eBay Partner Network team and Advertisers are constantly evaluating the rules, and appreciate your feedback.

Update

New High commission on one item!

$122.95

Mine was yesterday: $61.50

The product cost the buyer $4000.

What about you guys?

I tend to read here instead of post and I'm of the opinion that if you have nothing good to say, then say nothing at all . . . BUT this amazes me: You sell something for $4,000 and get a measly $61.50 in return? IMO you're doing a fantastic job (domains are the only things i've sold for that kind of figure) but ebay should be licking your balls not insulting you. Fuck me - mainstream rapes the little guy.

Actually $61.50 isn't too bad. You see they pay you 55% of the fees that the sellers are paying. So actually, I'm making more off the sale than ebay is. Not a bad deal to me.

I'm not knocking you. Selling anything for $4k is kickass. I'm just used to selling something for, say, $30 and getting paid $50 or $100 in adult.

I'm interested in ebay though - that's why I clicked on the thread. :)

hmm...I think my largest is just the 25.00 from people signing up. I get those at least a few times per week...I thought EVERYBODY had ebay accounts..some 2, or even 3 accounts :)

Could a mod move this to jr. vip so that e b a y doesn't come looking into it.

ive only had like a a 24 dollar commission from one sale.... however active referrals.... (obviously) have paid more.

Cant wait til I sell a car on Ebay....

Those are some pretty nice numbers!

Is this all from driving leads to eBay via a genuine site or "other" methods??
